Most HO3 policies provide insurance related to most perils, i.e. fire, lightning and theft.
Additional coverage comes included for:
* Personal Liability coverage and medical payments to others
*Loss of use ,if you home can’t be occupied during the repair of a covered claim
*Personal Property and valuables
*Coverage on other structures
The HO3 policy typically insures your home and attached structures, like your garage or deck, as well as your belongings and your personal liability if you accidentally injure someone or damage their property. Remember, what you are or are not covered for will depend upon the specific policy you have purchased. It is very important that you go over all available coverage offered and the coverage that you select. Generally, Floods and Earthquakes are not covered in your HO3 policy. Did you know that if you are texting the minimum amount of time your attention is taken away from the road is 5 seconds. If you are traveling at 55mph, in five seconds, you would have traveled the distance of a football field without looking at the road.

Statistics show that texting makes a crash up to 23 times more likely to happen. Thirteen per cent of drivers age 18-20 involved in crashes admit to texting or talking on their cellphones at the time of the crash. Statistics show that 77% of young drivers are fairly confident that they can safely text and drive and 55% think it is easy to text and drive. It is estimated young drivers spend 10% of their driving time, while texting, outside of the lane they are driving in.

Yes, adults text and drive. Surveys show that 15% of young drivers have seen their parents text and drive. Statistics show that 27% of adult drivers have sent or received text messages while driving. One in five drivers of all ages confess to surfing the web while driving.

Did you know there are 39 states plus D.C. that have laws that prohibit texting and driving. Four out of every five accidents are attributed to distracted drivers. The majority of Americans believe talking on a cellphone and texting are two of the most dangerous behaviors that occur behind the wheel, yet drivers still do it.

Regardless of your age, please help make our roads safer for all of us, DON’T TEXT and DRIVE.
